Garden Patch

It's not always easy getting Veggie ingredients you need for cooking up recipes. Luckily ChefVille has just introduced a quest that will get you a free Garden Patch. Once you unwrap and build this garden patch you will be able to harvest a variety of Veggies. You will no longer need to rely solely on your 2 Tomato plants, Onions and Mushrooms.

How To Get The Garden Patch
#1. Click on the Quest "Friend To Flora"

#2. Buy 2x Daisy Plants from the Marketplace and collect Mixed Greens from each one.

#3. Go to your inventory and place down the garden patch. It will look like 2 unwrapped packages once placed down. You can just click on the green "Show Me" button if you cannot find it.

#4. Place down the packages and unwrap them 3 times (Total Cost of 3x Energy).

#5. Click on the packages to build them. You will have to obtain 3x Pails of Water, 4x Bags of Seeds, 3x Plentiful Plywood and 3x Scrumptious Soil to build the Garden Patch.

The 3x Pails of Water and 4x Bags of Seeds can be obtained by posting a request on your Facebook wall. Friends can click on that link to give you either of these items.

The 3x Plentiful Plywood and 3x Scrumptious Soil can be obtained by asking friends. Friends will see all requests in their Inbox window (As shown on the left).

Note: As a last resort you can buy the items for Chef Cash, although this costs real money to get.

New Hot Dog Cart Event!

With the new Hot Dog Cart Event you will be able to create classic recipes such as the Hot Dog, The Works, Corn Dog, Spicy Veggie Chilli, Chicago Dog and much more.

You will start out by placing your Free Hot Dog cart. Next you will have to cook a Classic Hot Dog (Ingredients: 2x Sirloin Beef, 1x Wheat Bread and 2x Tomatoes. You can get more beef by visiting friends Mom & Pop Stores.

You can get the beef from the Mom & Pop Store, bread from the bread rack and Tomatoes from the Tomato vines outside.

Next you will have to place the Mustard Dispenser and then obtain items in order to build it. It will require 3x Pumps, 3x Refill Bottles and 3x Napkins or 45 total Cash.

You will have to post a request on your Facebook wall to get the Pumps and Napkins. Friends will then have to click the link on your Facebook wall to give you these items. For the Refill Bottles you will simply need to ask Facebook friends for these items.

As you cook up meals at your Hot Dog stand you will earn Ribbons. The more ribbons you get the more rewards you will win.

7 Ribbons= County Fair Hotdog Stand
20 Ribbons= 5x One-Hour Thymes
30 Ribbons= County Fair Carousel

Tip #1. Make ChefVille Run Faster

Whenever I played ChefVille it seemed to run very slow for me on Google Chrome. However, recently I decided to play it in Fullscreen mode and it now runs much faster.

You can go into Fullscreen mode by clicking on the blue and white icon on the bottom right of your screen (See picture on right). When you are done just press the ESC key and it will take you out of Fullscreen mode.

Free Spices & Rewards With Robert Irvine

Starting from now until October 2nd 11PM Pacific Daylight Time, you will be able to complete a series of 6 goals with Robert Irvine (Host of Food Network's Restaurant Impossible).

Start his goals and you will earn Spices, Limited Edition Robert Irvine Decor and much more!

The first goal you will have to complete is Thyme for Spice. Simply place down the Spice Crate somewhere in your restaurant (It will look like an unopened package). Click on the green "Show Me" button if you are confused.

Next you must finish the Spice Crate. This will require you to get 4x Oregano Orations and 4x Cinnamon Samples. To get these ingredients you must click "Post Request" then click "Share". Your friends will then have to click the link on your Facebook wall in order for them to give you these items.

You can also just buy the ingredients if you have some ChefVille Cash. However, if you don't have any Cash you will have to buy some with real money. I would recommend you get these items from friends instead.

After you have finished the Spice Crate you must then give 6 tomatoes to Robert Irvine. Just harvest these from your garden outside. They only take 2 minutes to harvest, so getting 6 tomatoes should be no problem.

Finally you must use a One-Hour Thyme on one of your dishes. Just cook a meal then click on the meal again when you see the timer on it. It will then ask you if you want to use a One-Hour Thyme on the dish. Check out the Free Page for a link for free One-Hour Thyme. Prize Level 3 of the Community Table was a One-Hour Thyme.

So many people were having trouble getting their Pink Mixer in ChefVille. Zynga just posted another link on the fan page and the problem is likely to be fixed now.

Now if you can't find it, click on the guy with glasses on the left side of your screen. It will bring you to the goal Mixing Addition.

The first task will read "Place and build a Pink Mixer". Go to the green button that says "Show Me". It will take you directly to where the Pink Mixer is and you can place it down and start building it.

How To Get Your Pink (Second) Mixer

ChefVille players have been asking how they can receive their second Mixer aka the Pink Mixer. Here are some simple steps to getting your Second Mixer.

Step #1. Click This Link

Step #2. Click on the green button labeled "Place Second Mixer" as shown in the picture to the right and place the Mixer somewhere in your restaurant. Note: It will look like an unopened package.

Step #3. Click on the placed package 3 times. This will cost you 3x Energy.

Step #4. To finish the Pink Mixer you will need 4x Saucy Situations and 4x Stirring Statistics. You can Ask Friends for these items or buy them for Cash.

3 Ways To Get XP

In ChefVille, XP is what you need in order to Level Up. As you level up you will unlock more grills, tables & chairs, other restaurant equipment etc. The more people you can serve the more money you will make and the faster your restaurant will grow! For these reasons, gaining XP is very important in ChefVille.

Here Are 3 Ways To Get XP In ChefVille

#1. Collecting/Harvesting- You will receive XP each time you harvest an ingredient in your own restaurant. Unfortunately, harvesting ingredients at friends' restaurants will not give you any XP. However, you can harvest ingredients from friend's restaurants for your own restaurant!

#2. Serving- Serving customers meals will give you XP as well. Just click on the customers sitting in your restaurant to serve them. This will cost some energy, but you will get more coins for serving customers yourself.
 
#3. Completing Goals- You will always have Goals to complete in ChefVille. These Goal icons can be found on the left side of your screen. Completing Goals will give you Coins, Ingredients and XP! Be sure to complete goals as they will eventually lead to the availability of roses & recommendations, necessary for unlocking new areas.

How To Get Salt & Pepper

As you progress through ChefVille you will find more recipes that require Salt and/or Pepper. I have seen many people asking how they can get Salt and Pepper so I decided to write a short article about obtaining these ingredients. Don't worry it is actually very simple!

3 Steps To Get Salt & Pepper

Step #1. Get ChefVille Friends- If you don't have any friends that play ChefVille, click on Add Neighbors at the top of your screen. You can then invite any of your Facebook friends to become your neighbors in ChefVille.

 

Step #2. Visit Your Neighbors & Help Them Out- Click on your neighbor's picture at the bottom of your screen to visit his or her restaurant. Once you are at your neighbor's restaurant help them out 5 times (You can help each neighbor a maximum of 5 times every 24 hours). After doing so you will receive 1x Salt and 1 Energy.

 
Step #3. Complete Step #2 Three Days In A Row- After 3 consecutive days of visiting the same neighbor you will become a Regular and start receiving Salt and Pepper with each visit. You will continue to receive Salt & Pepper as long as you don't miss a day. If you do miss a day you will go back to Basic. 3 consecutive days of visiting your neighbor will bring you back up to Regular status.

How To Harvest Ingredients Without Unlocking Them

I've seen many people ask how they can get certain types of ingredients. Whether it be getting eggs, asparagus, broccoli, etc. there is a solution to getting the ingredients that you need. The best part is with this tip you can harvest ingredients without having to unlock new areas!

Steps To Getting These Ingredients

Step #1. Become ChefVille Friends With High Level Players- Players that have a higher level than you will likely have more areas unlocked, which means that they will have access to a great variety of ingredients.

Step #2. Visit These Friends- You can simply click their picture at the bottom of your screen and you will be taken to their restaurant.

Step #3. Collect Ingredients!- Once you are in your friend's restaurant, click on the ingredient that you want to harvest. Finding most ingredients is pretty straightforward, (Eg. Click the Chicken Coop if you want Eggs, Click the Pond if you want Salmon). The only catch is that you can only do this 5 times per friend every 24 hours.

5 Ways To Get More Coins In ChefVille

Coins are the main currency in ChefVille. You will need coins to buy new equipment, supplies, decorations and also to unlock new areas. The more coins you get the faster you can gain experience and progress through ChefVille.

Here Are 5 Ways To Get More Coins

#1. Serve Meals To Customers- Your waiter will automatically serve meals to customers. However when you serve customers you will receive extra coins. The only catch is that each time you serve a customer yourself it costs energy. If you have some extra energy and need some coins, serve customers is a great way to spend energy.

#2. Complete Goals- You will always have goals to complete, shown on the left side of your screen. Upon completion you will receive ingredients, XP and Coins! Be sure to complete the goals that are set for you.

#3. Help Out Friends- You can help out each of your ChefVille friends 5 times each day. Each time you perform an action at your friend's restaurant coins will drop for you. The more friends you have on ChefVille the more coins you can collect each day!

#4. Buy Coins- You can also buy coins for Cash if you choose to. Cash can be bought for real money. I wouldn't want to spend real money on a game, but the choice is up to you.

#5. While You Were Away- Customers will continue to be served by your waiter while you are away from the game. Make sure you make enough food for your customers for the time you are not playing ChefVille. You will receive the coins once you log back into the game.

6 Ways To Get Energy In ChefVille

Every action that you do in ChefVille requires at least 1 Energy. These actions range from collecting ingredients to cooking to serving customers. You can see how much Energy you have left by looking at the energy bar in top right corner of your screen.

Here Are The 5 Ways You Can Get Energy In ChefVille

#1. Visiting ChefVille Friends- You can visit friends by clicking on their picture at the bottom of your screen. You will receive 3 energy when you visit your neighbor for the first time and 1 energy thereafter. You can do this for a maximum of 25 Energy every 24 hours.

#2. Waiting- You can simply just wait 5 Minutes for 1 energy. As long as your Energy bar is not full your Energy will slowly replenish over time. (12 Energy Per Hour)  

#3. Energy Pack (+1 Energy)- Friends can gift you with energy packs. When you visit and help a friend's restaurant they can accept your help and then have an option to send you an energy pack.You can use these Energy Packs in your inventory.

#4. Friends Can Share Energy- After completing quests, ChefVille players will have the option to share free energy on their Facebook wall. Check the Facebook walls of your ChefVille friends to get some free energy.

#5. Leveling Up- Getting enough XP will allow you to gain a level. Each Level Up gives you full energy and increases the maximum amount of energy you can hold.

#6. Buying Energy- As a last resort, you have the option of buying energy when you run out of it. This will require Cash then you can buy with real money.

In order to get eggs in ChefVille you must first unlock The Homestead. However you must unlock 2 nearby areas before you will be able to unlock The Homestead.

3 Ways To Unlock The Homestead

#1. Unlock Greens Market, Unlock Unexplored Land With Orange Trees and then Unlock The Homestead.

#2. Unlock Greens Market, Unlock Romance Pond and then Unlock The Homestead.

Ways To Get Roses & Recommendations

Roses & Recommendations are very important as they allow you to unlock new areas for your restaurant. The faster you expand your restaurant, the more customers you can have and the further you can progress through the game.

Note: After Reading This Guide Don't Forget Your 5 Free Ingredients From The Test Kitchen!

3 Ways To Get Roses

#1. Collect From Rose Stand- First you must buy the Rose Stand from the Marketplace. Each time you collect from your Rose Stand you will be given 3 roses. Every 8 hours you will be able to collect these roses again. This is one of the best ways to obtain Roses in ChefVille.

#2. Get From Friends- When you do not have any Roses left, try to collect recommendations. You will see a screen selling roses or ask you to "request". Click request and you will be able to request roses from your friends. In most cases the more friends you have the more total roses you will receive.

#3. Buy With Cash- This is the third and most costly way of obtaining roses. You can simply buy roses for In-Game Cash (Which can be bought for real money).

I would first try #1 or #2 and use #3 as a last resort because no one likes paying for virtual items. The choice is yours though.


Getting Recommendations
Recommendations are necessary for unlocking new areas in ChefVille. To get recommendations you must spend Roses on customers. When customers come into you restaurant they will sometimes have a Rose icon hovering over their head. This can only occur when you have food to serve to your customers.

Once you spend a Rose on your customer it will cost your 1 Energy. So make sure you pay attention to your energy levels when trying to obtain recommendations. Also note that there is currently a 100 maximum limit recommendation for each ChefVille player so use them wisely.

Mastery Stars Information

ChefVille Mastery Stars Frequently Asked Questions 

Mastery Stars are stars you earn from serving a particular dish several times. The more stars you earn on a particular dish, the more servings you'll get from that dish.



How do you collect Mastery Stars?
To collect a Mastery Star, you must prepare a Dish several times. With each Dish you prepare, the mastery level for that Dish will increase. You can see how many stars a particular Dish has by clicking on the dish in the Cooking Menu. You will see the Mastery Stars for this Dish along with the earnings you will receive, on the right side of the window.



What effect do Mastery Stars have? 
The higher your mastery level of a dish, the more earnings you will receive when serving this dish. Mastery Stars also help you unlock expansions!

How do I find out how many Dishes I need to serve before reaching the next mastery level?
To find out how many Dishes you need to serve before reaching the next mastery level, simply hover your mouse over the Mastery Stars beside a particular dish.

Where can I see how many mastery stars I have earned?
You can find out your overall mastery level by looking at the top right corner of your game screen. The Star beside your Energy bar and your XP bar will indicate your current level

Can I see how many Mastery Stars my neighbors have?
Yes. To do so, just look at your neighbors in your neighbor bar. In the bottom left corner of your neighbor’s image, you will see how many Mastery Stars they have earned.
