Garden Patch

It's not always easy getting Veggie ingredients you need for cooking up recipes. Luckily ChefVille has just introduced a quest that will get you a free Garden Patch. Once you unwrap and build this garden patch you will be able to harvest a variety of Veggies. You will no longer need to rely solely on your 2 Tomato plants, Onions and Mushrooms.

How To Get The Garden Patch
#1. Click on the Quest "Friend To Flora"

#2. Buy 2x Daisy Plants from the Marketplace and collect Mixed Greens from each one.

#3. Go to your inventory and place down the garden patch. It will look like 2 unwrapped packages once placed down. You can just click on the green "Show Me" button if you cannot find it.

#4. Place down the packages and unwrap them 3 times (Total Cost of 3x Energy).

#5. Click on the packages to build them. You will have to obtain 3x Pails of Water, 4x Bags of Seeds, 3x Plentiful Plywood and 3x Scrumptious Soil to build the Garden Patch.

The 3x Pails of Water and 4x Bags of Seeds can be obtained by posting a request on your Facebook wall. Friends can click on that link to give you either of these items.

The 3x Plentiful Plywood and 3x Scrumptious Soil can be obtained by asking friends. Friends will see all requests in their Inbox window (As shown on the left).

Note: As a last resort you can buy the items for Chef Cash, although this costs real money to get.

New Hot Dog Cart Event!

With the new Hot Dog Cart Event you will be able to create classic recipes such as the Hot Dog, The Works, Corn Dog, Spicy Veggie Chilli, Chicago Dog and much more.

You will start out by placing your Free Hot Dog cart. Next you will have to cook a Classic Hot Dog (Ingredients: 2x Sirloin Beef, 1x Wheat Bread and 2x Tomatoes. You can get more beef by visiting friends Mom & Pop Stores.

You can get the beef from the Mom & Pop Store, bread from the bread rack and Tomatoes from the Tomato vines outside.

Next you will have to place the Mustard Dispenser and then obtain items in order to build it. It will require 3x Pumps, 3x Refill Bottles and 3x Napkins or 45 total Cash.

You will have to post a request on your Facebook wall to get the Pumps and Napkins. Friends will then have to click the link on your Facebook wall to give you these items. For the Refill Bottles you will simply need to ask Facebook friends for these items.

As you cook up meals at your Hot Dog stand you will earn Ribbons. The more ribbons you get the more rewards you will win.

7 Ribbons= County Fair Hotdog Stand
20 Ribbons= 5x One-Hour Thymes
30 Ribbons= County Fair Carousel

Tip #1. Make ChefVille Run Faster

Whenever I played ChefVille it seemed to run very slow for me on Google Chrome. However, recently I decided to play it in Fullscreen mode and it now runs much faster.

You can go into Fullscreen mode by clicking on the blue and white icon on the bottom right of your screen (See picture on right). When you are done just press the ESC key and it will take you out of Fullscreen mode.
